Runs 'N Roses

Runs 'N Roses eco-tourism, a Thai-Dutch initiative since April 2003, islocated in the southern part of Thailand, Chumpon province. On the map you will find us in between the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Siam. We are easy to reach and we can offer you many ways to enjoy your holiday and nature in a different way.

Runs 'N Roses: naturally Thailand

We work together with our neighbors on several projects. The aim of Runs 'N Roses is - together with local authorities and local people - to organize small scale Eco-tourism in Southern Thailand (Phato district). Eco tourism is tourism that respects the local environment. Nature as well as culture. We are absolutely not fanatical, but with all actions, activities, projects and decisions Runs 'N Roses tries to choose the option that damages the local environment as little as possible. Besides that Runs 'N Roses runs several projects that even have a positive effect on the environment. For visitors who are interested we are more then happy to explain about -for example- our organic farm, the Natural Clay building project, our water filter systems, are 'Say no to plastic bags' project, our other environmental educational projects, our garbage system and our 'Save the rainforest' program, our cooperation and partnerships with our neighbors and our Thai Culture and language courses.

Runs 'N Roses tries to work in an environmentally friendly way. However Eco tourism was not the main aim to start Runs 'N Roses. Runs 'N Roses was set up to support the Thai Child Development Foundation financially. You too can support the foundation and it's projects, simply by staying in the accommodation that Runs 'N Roses offers. For more information about the foundation, it's aims and goals and the projects you can visit this web site: www.thaichilddevelopment.org.

We hope that the Runs 'N Roses web site will inspire you to visit Thailand, the land of smiles. And especially the southern part of Thailand, with it's pristine mountains, many National Parks, the rain forests, the waterfalls and of course the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Siam with its many beautiful islands and beaches.

And who knows............... maybe we meet each other at Runs 'N Roses!

Runs 'N Roses is set up to support the Thai Child Development Foundation financially.
Most foundations have a lot of "overhead", such as salaries for staff, office rent, supplies, daily life costs, transport to and from projects and so on. The concept of Runs 'N Roses supporting the TCDF prevents that 50% of the given donations to TCDF
would be spent on overhead. By staying in one of the bungalows or guest rooms of Runs 'N Roses, you help TCDF
in a constructive and lasting way. This will benefit all children involved with the foundation.
