In the low season - March, April, May and June - Runs
'N Roses organizes working holidays
for tourist who would like to have the luxury of our accommodation,
meals and service, but who also like to do something, work and be
involved in our organization.
So:

if you want to go on a holiday, stay in a beautiful area, surrounded
by nature in one of our beautiful rooms
-
If you want to be with local people, if you are interested
in Thai culture, language, live near a small village and explore
the area
-
If you want be active and do some work
-
If you are with two people
Then you can come to Runs 'N Roses
and combine your holiday with some (physical) work.
We have the following to offer to you:

our location in Paksong village.

a stay in one of our bungalows or guest rooms

3 great meals a day

a minimum stay of 7 days

a discount of 20% on your stay in our accomodation

work at one of our projects for 3 hours a day and 5 days per
week
The holiday and work program
The program consists of 2 parts: a holiday part and a working part.
Holiday
Runs 'N Roses is located on
a beautiful spot. You will be able to explore it's area the way
you want it: with organized activities or by yourself. You can go
trekking in the rain forest, explore caves (with and without bats),
experience the river by long-tail boat, bamboo-raft, tube or swimming,
walk the trails in the area by yourself, or go mountain-biking.
You can even go horseback riding!
Or what about a cooking lesson, where you can learn to make the
dishes of the real Thai cuisine? If you wish to relax you just stay
in your room. The rooms have a garden, a river in front of your
porch, a nice area to sit and plenty of privacy.
You name it: we've got it. And if we don't we can try to organize
it ! You will have a great time at Runs 'N
Roses.
Work:
The work that can be done is depending on the season and the number
of participants in the 'holiday and work'-program. It can differ
from :
-
work in the vegetable garden,
-
work in the flower garden, plant trees, make paths
-
do some jobs around the bungalows, restaurant, sport field
or stables,
-
work with the horses (when experienced),
-
or help with construction work, making sala's, staircases,
campfire places, decoration work.

of work.
Conditions
If you are interested in joining the holiday-and-work-program,
you should consider the following:

you have to stay for a minimum period of 1 week (7 days)
-
you should be with two people minimum
-
during your period of stay you will work for 5 days
-
per day you will work 3 hours in a row
-
the way of working and the kind of work is decided by Runs
'N Roses
-
if the cooperation is not satisfactory it can be stopped
-
you join at your own risk. Runs 'N
Roses can not be held responsible for any loss or damage
of goods or accidents. We recommend people to take care of their
own health- and travel insurance.
