Runs 'N Roses is based in the
southern part of Thailand, in the province of Chumpon, Phato district.
Phato is a small village surrounded by mountains and untouched
jungle forests. It is along the 900 kilometer river that cuts through
National Parks such as Koh Sok. This area has many rivers, waterfalls,
caves and several National Parks.
The main income in this area is agriculture on fruit trees. That
is why you will also find many plantations here (olive-palms, durian,
rambutan, bananas, oranges and coffee).
If you look on the map, you will find that Phato is situated right
in between the Samilian Islands in the Andaman sea on the west and
the island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand on the east.
There is a road that connects the two coasts, and that road passes
Phato. Nobody bothers to stop there. But actually they should, to
find out the beauty of this place.
