Phato district and Phato town

Runs 'N Roses is based in the district Phato. Phato is alsothe name of a small village in the district with the same name. It is situated in Chumphon province and right in between the two coastlines of Thailand: the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman see (both 50 km away from Phato). Phato area is surrounded by mountains and untouched jungle forests. The people of Phato get their main income from fruit. All kinds of fruit, like: durian, mangosteen, jackfruit, oranges, rambutan, pineapple and so on.

Because of it's location and the fact that rainy season in this area lasts for 6 months per year, Phato is a very green area, with a lot of water. So, that means: many rivers and waterfalls.

Nam Tok Haew Lome for example. This huge waterfall consists of two levels. The stream flows into a rocky pool before winding through the district of Phato to the Lang Suan River.

Runs 'N Roses also organizes a trip to this impressive waterfall. Bamboo rafting or wildwater rafting on teh river are also possible.

Runs 'N Roses is located in the village Pak Song (municipility Phato). From Phato-town to the bungalows of Runs 'N Roses is a beautiful trip of 12 km through pristine mountains.
