Recipe for natural insect spray for your garden
-
You need a big pot (about 20 liter of content).
-
Then you take the leaves, flowers and fruit of the Magosa tree
(it is a very bitter-tasting herb). You need about 2 kg of that.
-
Use a mortar and pestle to bruise the leaves, flowers and fruits.
-
Then you take lemon grass, also about 2 kg and you bruise the
leaves too and cut it into pieces.
-
If you have any cheap quality tobacco you can add that too
(Nat uses a package of 20 grams).
-
Add 20 liter of water.
-
Close the pot very good and leave it for about a week. Keep
the pot tightly closed, because the smell is really bad!
After a week you fill a spray machine and spray the fluid over the
plants.
This spray is very useful to keep bugs away that eat leaves. Grasshoppers
do not like it either. You can apply the spray once every 2 weeks
for a period of three months.
Because the bugs get used to the smell and the spray after a while,
you make a new potion after three months. You can use any bitter
and bad smelling plants.
And you?
