Environmentally friendly gardening means gardening without chemicals. That requires a lot of knowledge and creativity to keep bugs and insects away. Here you can find some tips from our gardener.

Marigold

This nice plant keeps insects and bugs away. Just plant it along the border of your vegetable garden.

Natural chalk

Add some natural chalk (you can buy it in every hardware store) to your soil and the termites will disappear!

Natural insect spray

At Runs 'N Roses you will find many beautiful insects. Some of them are not a welcome guest in our vegetable garden. Nat uses his own recipe of insect spray, completely natural, to keep them away from our vegetables.

Lemon grass

Lemon grass is a herb and very tasty in many Thai dishes. But next to that it keeps away some bugs because of the odor. We just planted the lemon grass alongside the vegetable garden.
