   A Longtail boat trip

A longtail boat is "the true Thai river transport." Local people use these boats as a means of transport and travel in areas unreachable by cars. We organized a full day trip with one of this wooden boats in the area of the lodge.

You will be taken to one of the many rivers near Runs 'N Roses. There you will find a longtail boat waiting for you and you will go upstream. During the trip there will be some breaks to look around, swim, enjoy the scenery. Lunch will be taken at beautiful spot. This little beach can only be reached by river.

When you arrive there you can take your time to relax, to swim and to enjoy the 'silence' of the jungle. Lunch will be made on the spot.
Halfway through the afternoon you will go back with the Longtail boat (downstream, so without the engine) and you will be transported back to the startingpoint and from there to your bungalow.

During this trip you can have encounters with animals, such as: birds (from eagles to sun-birds and many kingfishers), turtles, monkeys (gibbon-area), monitors (big lizards), an occasional snake, many butterflies and dragonflies, and so on.

Price	2.500 Baht per trip. Includes lunch and transport from and to your bungalow
Staff	the activity-coordinator of Runs 'N Roses will go with you on this trip and two local people will control the boat

• a hat or cap

• sunglasses

• and of course: insect repellent.
