Runs 'N Roses started in 2003
in Thor Tang village. A lodge was started there in a rented house.
In 2005 a piece of land, about 7 km from the first Runs 'N
Roses location was purchased.
Here the projects of the Thai Child
Development Foundation started and Runs 'N
Roses decided to build some bungalows, a house with guest rooms
and a honey moon suite for guests on this property.
The combination of the foundation and the guesthouse gives guests
visiting the eco-tourism project the opportunity learn more about
the Thai Child Development Foundation
too. All the profit generated by renting out the accommodation
will be used to support Thai Child Development
Foundation financially.
Staying with Runs 'N Roses
means that you have a choice of accommodation.
1. You can stay in a bungalow (max.
2 people) or
2. You can stay in a room (max. 3 people
per room) or
2. You can stay in a family apartment
(2 rooms, max. 3 people per room) or
3. You can stay in the honeymoon suite
(max. 2 people)
Bungalows
The bungalows are build near the river and overlook the rainforest.
Each bungalow has it's own bedroom, bathroom, porch, a private garden
with a campfire place, several sitting area's near the bungalow
and the river. The bungalows are comfortable, and not one is alike.
People who would like to stay more frequent with us or for a longer
period, can consider to 'adopt a bungalow' financially. If you're
interested, you can always e-mail us.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be used in the restaurant.

 Rooms
The rooms can be found close to the river and are situated in a
big house. There are four rooms available for guests.
Each room has a private bathroom with garden, a small porch, a
double bed and a single bed. Around the house is a beautiful garden.
The rooms can be used by 1 to 3 people.

 Family
apartment
The family apartment can be found close to the river and are situated
in a big house.
There is one family apartment available for guests with two rooms.
Each room has a private bathroom, a small porch, a double bed and
a single bed. Each rooms can be used by 2 to 3 people.

Honeymoon suite
The honeymoon suite is located in a big private house (64m2) on
top of the mountain, a few minutes walking from the Runs 'N
Roses restaurant. The house is build on stilts and therefor
you have a great view over the mountains, the river and the forest.
It is a beautiful, quiet and very romantic spot for special guests.
The house has a sleeping area, dining area, two sittings area's,
a down stairs garden, an upstairs garden and a huge porch with a
bench over the length of the house. You will find a nice bathroom
with hot water, Thai style shower and Western toilet.
The house is beautifully dec
orated and has a very intimate atmosphere.
Because of it's construction and the way the house is situated you
feel like you are outside all the time and be a part of the forest
and still have all the comfort and luxury of a modern house.
